Hardware As A Service Training
MSP On Demand is committed to ensuring successful adoption of the Hardware as a Service (HAAS) Process tool and its functionality by all users.
MSP On Demand offers a six week course for MSP On Demand clients that is designed to give the reseller insight on how to utilize the HAAS Process tools. The program consists of six, one-hour classroom sessions that will take our authorized resellers step-by-step, through the process from prospecting to implementing HAAS thus strengthening the value of the fixed-fee, recurring revenue model.
Curriculum Overview
- Week One: A complete understanding of ‘why’ and ‘what’ HAAS is and how it will benefit your company. Exercise to be completed prior to next class session.
- Week Two: An overview of building a fixed-fee support program. Review of prior week’s assignment. Exercise to be completed prior to next class session.
- Week Three: Presentation of the HAAS quoting tool; how it works; and how to price the service. Review of assignment. Exercise to be completed prior to next class session.
- Week Four: Sales Training Strategy: How to Pitch and Sell a HAAS prospect. Review of assignment. Exercise to be completed prior to next class session.
- Week Five: Service Training: How to properly do a Network Assessment and tools needed for remote support. Review of assignment. Exercise to be completed prior to next class session.
- Week Six: Financial/Contract Understanding: Why and How to Do an SLA; Getting credit applications and processing the paperwork.
In addition, each MSP On Demand reseller in the program will get three, one hour personal consultation sessions during the six week program. This will be scheduled by the Channel Manager.
Course Objectives
The objective of the Fast Track program is to empower the reseller to comfortably deliver HAAS. The course work and one-on-one training are geared towards transitioning the reseller into successfully becoming a Managed Service Provider.
Participants will have a better understanding of the HAAS Process: how to properly utilize the software; how to implement the HAAS Contract; how to properly formulate the SLA; and, how to deliver remote support.
The small group setting will also allow the participants to discuss valuable issues and share experiences that will have a much larger impact on their business.
- Webinars: These include a general overview of the HAAS Process tool and monthly sales ‘tips’ will be recorded and delivered via the internet with live question and answers following each session.
- Instructor-Led Classroom Workshops: These workshops help Managed Service Providers to learn more about the fast-paced demands of the end-user and how to integrate Hardware as a Service. The workshops will be conducted regionally and via the internet.
- Custom Training: Custom Training, which includes business-specific training for your organization, consists of on-site training tailored to meet the functional needs of your organization.
